Yardley keep bringing out so many gorgeous new scented skin and body products, it is hard to keep up. Their latest fragrance is April Violets – this is a fresh and sensual floral with fresh, green violet leaves, citrus and geranium top notes, with a heart of parma violets, iris, jasmine, ylang ylang and tuberose with warm vanilla base notes.
The result? A gorgeous heady scent with a hint of sweetness which I think is great for anytime of the day, or year for that matter. Some scented products I think can be more summery or wintery smells but the April Violets is perfect for all year round.
The lotion feels really light on the skin and I found that it absorbed super quickly, which is great for me as I hate waiting for moisturisers and body lotions to dry, especially when it’s cold and I just want to hop in my pyjamas.
After a few uses, my skin feels gorgeously soft, smooth and well-moisturised and the delicate fragrance lingers which is definitely another plus for me as it keeps me smelling fresh.
