Lush – New Favourites

Godiva Shampoo Bar £6.75

I had never tried a Shampoo Bar before and was a little hesitant if I am honest, but I was bored of using liquid soapy formulas and wanted to try something different. Godiva is a shampoo bar which cleans and conditions with a variety of nut oils and butters and leaves a lingering scent of jasmine on your freshly-washed tresses. The butters and oils help to condition, moisturise and soften the hair, including cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, shea butter, camellia oil, organic macademia nut oil and extra virgin coconut oil. Phew, you don’t get that lot in your regular off the shelf shampoo!

I used this on my hair and it lathers so quickly and well, and also rinses out so super fast so you that you have time to relax before school or work. It smells so beautiful on the hair and I am definitely glad I gave this a whirl.

Sex Bomb Bath Bomb £3.35

This was one of the products we were lucky enough to receive when Lush came along to the Northern Blogger Meet Up in Sheffield. When you are feeling tired, stressed out and anxious – you need some sensual healing courtesy of the Sex Bomb! The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you relaxed and feeling in the mood… Jasmine is an ancient aphrodisiac, used as a sensual perfume in India for centuries and in aromatherapy to ease stress and anxiety. Clary sage clears the mind, while ylang ylang is renowned for soothing worries.

The colours of pink and lilac make a really pretty bath water and the cute little flower floats around the bath until it gradually melts away. The thing I love most about Lush bath bombs are that when you get out of the bath and have dried yourself, you can still feel the essential oils working their magic on your skin.
