The Body Shop Fijian Water Lotus Collection

This is the latest addition to the Voyage Fragrance Collection at The Body Shop, and the range includes the Perfume Oil, Eau de Toilette, Fragrance Mist, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Body Butter. I love summery fragrances and this one did not let me down – close your eyes and you could be in your very own tropical paradise.

The notes of the fragrance are made up of natural extracts of hand-picked Fijian Water Lotus with top notes of mandarin and litsea and a tantalising marine accord at the base. The Eau De Toilette is perfect for during the day, and would be a lovely fragrance to take on holiday with you as it is not too heavy smelling. The bottle is a generous 50ml and so I found that this lasted me quite a long time.

Now I have never tried the Perfume Oils before but as I loved this fresh uplifting fragrance so much I wanted to give it a whirl. You only need a couple of drops of the oil for a more intense scent. This is the perfect size to pop into a purse or clutch bag on an evening out. As you only need a couple of drops for each application, the bottle lasts quite a while and the little plastic applicator makes it really easy to apply without spilling the perfume everywhere.

The Fijian Water Lotus Body Lotion comes in a 250ml sized pump action bottle, which makes it great for packing as you can switch the nozzle to ‘closed’ so the lotion won’t spill out. I have used a few of The Body Shop’s body lotions and love them as they are really light in texture and when applying but they keep you well moisturised and are a great alternative to their body butters.

The Eau De Toilette is £16 for 50ml, the Perfume Oil is £7.50 for 15ml and the Body Lotion is £10 for 250ml.
