I had never heard of a body sorbet before I discovered this beauty of a product – therefore I didn’t have a clue what it was which made me want to try it even more!
The Body Sorbet is available in five fragrances – Moringa, Mango, Pink Grapefruit, Strawberry and Satsuma – all really refreshing fruity fragrances. The first thing I noticed about the sorbet is the texture, it is neither a lotion, nor a gel, nor a cream and is unlike anything else I have tried. Now here is the description, bare with me – on first contact it is the most gorgeous refreshingly cool ‘stuff’ that would be perfect after a day in the sun, it feels like a mousse-like velvet mixture of gel and lotion. Then when you spread it onto the skin there are tiny grain-like particles that smooth out and melt into the skin.
The sorbet instantly sinks into the skin, without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, it kept me refreshed and hydrated for most of the day and evening. The Moringa fragrance is gorgeous, and lasts quite a long time on the skin, which is something I don’t often experience with body skincare products.
Each tube is 200ml and lasts quite a while as you only need a small amount of the product as it spreads really well. You can check out this gorgeous range at www.thebodyshop.co.uk where the Body Sorbets cost just £8 each.
