Once the warmer weather arrives (eventually), the skin on my legs often become dry and irritable, and sometimes I scratch them in my sleep which often results in little scabs – not pretty when wearing summer dresses! I have tried numerous moisturisers, balms and creams and nothing seems to shift that itchy feeling.
Therefore I was intrigued when we were sent Flexitol Anti-Itching Soothing Cream to try. It is a blend of colloidal oatmeal, Canadian willowherb and menthol, (which by the way is really prominent in fragrance), and is specially developed to quickly calm, soothe and relieve dry, itchy skin.
It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and is a highly concentrated non-irritant moisturiser. It is also suitable for children and suggests it be gently smoothed on t the affected skin 3-4 times a day.
The texture of the cream is quite light and almost balmy and as previously mentioned has quite a mentholated scent, which is quite refreshing. Instantly my legs did feel much more soothed, especially where the soreness was and I did find that I didn’t have to re-apply until bedtime but this tube is a perfect size to pop into your handbag or beach bag.
You can purchase Flexitol Anti-Itching Soothing Cream from www.amazon.co.uk for around £8 per 85g.
