Clarins Extra Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream

Weather, the ozone, smoking, and the environment can sometimes cause havoc to our skin and anti-pollution is a big thing in skincare at the moment. Clarins have been creating anti-pollution products since 1991 and now the range has been extended to include this luxurious cleanser. Clarins Extra Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream has been developed to cleanse and nourish the skin whilst also detoxifying and removing all traces of pollution. Here is a shot of it straight out of the generous-sized 200ml tube:

The ingredient responsible for the anti-pollution action is Moringa Seed which comes from what is referred to in India as the Miracle Tree. Moringa Seed uses its natural proteins and works on the skin’s surface and the epidermis and can illuminate traces of pollution by acting as a barrier against pollution particles, making sure they rinse away from the skin. Tests carried out by Clarins have shown that the cleanser removes up to 94% of carbon particles.

This cleanser feels so luxurious and velvety rich, which makes my skin feel amazing and right away you know you have a high end brand. I begin my massaging the cream into my skin for a minute or two and then removing it with a warm damp cloth. I find that it sweeps away all traces of make-up and it is gentle enough to be able to use on my eyes. I did not get a tight feeling with this cleanser as with some other facial products, just clean, calm and nourished skin.

This product is available now with an RRP of £25 and you can purchase it from stores such as Boots and Debenhams. For more information on other Clarins products check out their website:
