Now, try as you might to wipe it from your brain, there are only 48 shopping days left until Christmas! FORTY EIGHT!
The shelves are stocked with gift sets and selection boxes and pop up shops have, erm, popped up around Hull city centre, packed to the rafters with tinsel, artificial Christmas trees and full sized, light up, moving, flashing reindeers to display in the front garden. I was even in Card Factory the other day, whilst it was still October, and found myself humming along to ‘simply, having, a wonderful Christmas time’.
Yep, I’m afraid it’s here- Christmas is upon us! And I have not bought one present yet.
Its only a few weeks until the turkey is demolished, the tins of Quality Street are empty and we’re sat around watching the soaps on Christmas Day, wondering who exactly is going to die this year- they’re so full of cheer on such a happy day!
However, for the run up to Christmas, Kathryn and myself have each purchased one of these, making each day way more satisfying than a scabby piece of chocolate. We’ve purchased the much sought after Boots Beauty Advent Calendar!
Now, if you don’t want to know what’s in the Advent Calendar, stop reading NOW
